Call of Duty, just a game or more than that?

Call of Duty is a video game that positions in World War II. It has become very known and widespread among people, especially teenagers, nowadays. It is a game that is surprisingly accurate and quite realistic. It is so realistic that when viewing pictures of soldiers and war events, some people believe it to be real images.
Even though it is just a video game, some people do not agree with it and believe that it should not be allowed to exist. Now I wouldn’t really agree with that, because no matter what, it is still a game.
Some people just play it for fun, and some people play to visualize and sense what it would have felt like to be in war and to be in all that chaos and strain. You might think oh this video contains too much violence, vulgarity, blood, etc... but once again, ITS JUST A GAME.

Call of Duty was a way to show the real events of war, not the clean images we mostly see. There is nothing wrong about seeing a bit of blood, or fighting in order to save your life or your friends’. The thing about video games is that at the end, you pretty much lose nothing. You might lose and die but then you’ll just feel a bit disappointed or upset but you’ll get over it. It’s nothing serious and can affect your life in a way.

Some people might say that it is not appropriate, but it’s not like you really were at war and youre going through all that horror, you’re just getting a taste of what it would be like and imagining yourself being there at that time, practicing and fighting and doing all what you think you would have done at that time. It’s just a fictional game, and should not be taken that seriously

Real war is a million times different. There isn’t even a comparison between them! Losing a life during that time isn’t just like dying in a game. In real life, theres no restart button, theres no returns, theres no “play again”, because once youre dead, youre gone.
In the video game, they try to keep it as real as possible. With the blood, the players, the scenes and all, but come on, you know at the end its all not real. The emotions cant even be expressed through the game. The tension, the fear, the excitement.. nothing. You might be jumping up and down and screaming at the game while playing and all that, but unfortunately, the player wont REALLY feel the way the soldiers did out there.
So therefore, I believe that Call of Duty should be allowed to exist because it’s just a game and theres nothing wrong with trying to relate to war and its events and emotions because at the end, the real lost will only be the $60 payed for it, and not a real life.
